The only additional costs are incurred for international rates, toll-free numbers, outbound calls over your shared minute limit, and the Universal Service Fee (applied by friendly Uncle Sam). Really bad reliability, they're down a lot (like right now) and have poor sound quality.
I switched from Aptela to save money....what a mistake that was, now I have to go switch again :( Save yourself the hassle and go with a quality provider. Tried calling customer service and got a busy signal?!? You get what you pay for.
Would not recommend to a friend.

Terrific service

Would like to have a call log online to see in and outbound calls.
I've used a number of other online voip providers. Jive is the first with a combination of excellent service and customer service. What a relief!

Posted on: Jun 26, 2009Customer service has been great. Knowledgeable and friendly. You can actually understand them...they speak English well versus customer service reps with some other companies that you can't communicate with.
I would have liked more written information regarding the features available with the phone system

Posted on: Jun 23, 2009Customer service is unmatched. Quick, accurate responses from all departments. Quality of Service has been great. Zero issues.
Would like to be able to make changes to call setup and call que routing from a web based interface. They say this is soon to be released. That being said, when I call for help making these changes the service is quick and efficient and the changes get done almost immediately.

definitely worth the switch

Still have to use the local phone company for Internet access
I was a little worried at first, but once I tried it and noticed that the sound quality was better than my ATT hard lines along with the money I saved, definitely made it worth the switch
to a friend.
