VoIPStunt is purportedly a free VoIP service. However, after a short trial period you must enter credit card info and pay a minimum of €10 credit to use the VoIPStunt service.
VoIPStunt provides a free softphone program for your computer to make calls. There is also a mobile app and several ways to use a landline phone. You can use a local access number for the country you are calling, connect through SIP, or VoIPStunt's Phone-2-Phone web program.
Pricing
VoIPStunt offers a total of 60 min free calling for trial users. No one call can exceed a 1 minute test during a trial.
After registering and paying, an account has limited "FreeDays" to use for select, free destinations
VoIPStunt can be more expensive than its Betamax sister sites (also known as clones, see below). Rates change frequently on VoIPStunt and its sister services, somewhat arbitrarily. Promoted rates can be seen on VoIPStunt's website.
The Terms of Use still say minimum funds are €5, but it is has been reported that VoIPStunt recently raised the minimum to €10.
Once you run out of free minutes in your account, international rates lapse to "default" or normal rates. The normal rate for USA calling is .01 eurocents a minute.

VoIPStunt & Sister Services
VoIPStunt is a clone of VoIPBuster, Voipstunt, VoIPCheap.co.uk, Netappel, SIP Discount, Sparvoip, Internetcalls, Voipdiscount, Voipcheap, Poivy, etc. There are over 20. All of these free-trial international calling sites are owned by Betamax, a European company.
VoIPStunt Location
As a member of the Betamax VoIP group, VoIPStunt is nearly impossible to track.
A whois of voipstunt.com reveals different countries of origin depending on which system you use. ARIN (via RIPE, Réseaux IP Européens/European IP Networks) claims the IP address is from Switzerland. Betamax itself hails from Cologne, Germany. Dellmont is supposedly in Luxembourg (Dellmont is mentioned in the Terms of Use as the supplying company at VoIPstunt.com).
We apologize if the listed country is inaccurate.
